We recently packed up and flew to Iceland for a Sweetflexx photoshoot that felt more like an adventure than work. The moment we arrived, we understood why people talk about this place like it’s another world.
Everywhere we looked, the landscape was rich, dramatic, and full of inspiration — from the thunderous roar of the Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls to the moody black sands of Reynisfjara. Even the quiet moments on the road felt special. Long drives, shared laughs, unexpected detours, and yes… sheep and goats...everywhere
Iceland’s dramatic landscapes are what sparked inspiration for our newest legging colors. The warm, earthy tones in the mossy cliffs and volcanic rock became the foundation for Hot Chocolate, while the soft grays in the mist, waterfalls, and fog rolling across the coast shaped Vapor Gray. Iceland didn’t just set the scene for our photoshoot — it shaped the palette for our fall releases.
The trip wasn’t perfect — the weather had a mind of its own, the wind kept us on our toes but embracing those ups and downs is exactly what made it unforgettable. A little resistance always makes the journey more meaningful.
